Last home game of the season as Bedwas look to finish with a flourish

Bedwas play their final home game of the season on Wednesday evening as we play the first of two games against St Peters RFC.

Some of you will have noticed on social media that our friends at Pontypridd RFC are the only Welsh Premiership side to go unbeaten at home this season.

I believe Bedwas can ‘trump’ that when I say our last home league defeat was on Saturday 20th April 2024 when Glamorgan Wanderers were successful 41 points to 38. It is a record to be proud of and one I know the coaching team wish to extend.

Before the game Pat McGee said “After a strong performance on Saturday that secured the league and cup double, we return under the lights to host St Peter’s. With just two games remaining and our home record still intact, the focus remains on maintaining the high standards we’ve set throughout the season.

There’s plenty still to play for, and the squad is determined to finish the campaign strongly in front of our home support.”

Following last Saturday’s win and Bedwas being confirmed as Champions can supporters please be aware that the trophy will be presented on Saturday after the game at St Peters.

The following twenty players are selected for this game:

The appointed referee is Owen Wrangham.
