Friday has finally arrived and with it another influx of donations from community members and local businesses. We would like to thank Captiva Spa, Brains, Greg Callow (who is running an awesome UFC auction on his profile for us), Chris Ower, Jane Beck – Welsh Blankets as well as the numerous other individuals who continue to donate raffle prizes and auction items. All such donations are very gratefully received.
Today has seen some of our brilliant young players from the Minis & Juniors sections out and about in Tesco running a bucket collection. Thank you to the kids and their coaches for giving up their time during the half term break to help and thanks to Tesco as well for their support. The Youth boys have also been doing a great job again for us both bag packing and down at the club working in the cellar.
The temporary bar has been installed in the main room of the club so we will be ready to host you all for Wales v France on Saturday at 4.45pm. We have also named a side to face Neath RFC at CSE Ystrad Mynach tomorrow at 1pm which is something we never thought we’d be able to back on Monday.
A slightly earlier finish down the club this afternoon so our volunteers can get a well earned rest before what promises to be an exciting – but very busy – day of rugby tomorrow!
