Bedwas RFC is very pleased to announce that Saturday’s planned fixture against Neath RFC will go ahead as scheduled, kicking off at 1pm. We will be moving the game to the artificial pitch at the Ystrad Mynach Centre of Sporting Excellence (Postcode: CF82 7EP) as the Bridgefield remains severely waterlogged with more rain due this week.
For this game, we will be charging a general ticket price of £5 (U18s free as ever) and this will also include a token for a complimentary bottle of beer/soft drink at the Bedwas RFC clubhouse (terms and conditions apply). We are planning to open the club on Saturday for the Six Nations fixtures on TV, running a makeshift bar, which we hope will have some draught alcohol facilities. We also hope to have food on offer at the club in the afternoon. Naturally, entry to the game will be complimentary to those who have been working tirelessly to volunteer down the club this week.
Hopefully you will join us to cheer on the team against Neath up at Ystrad, then come back down to the clubhouse to get behind Wales against France in the Six Nations at 4.45pm.
The community has been so good to us since Sunday and we hope that Saturday will be an opportunity for us to all come together and enjoy a day of club and international rugby!
