All at Bedwas Rugby Club are deeply shocked and saddened to hear of the sudden death of Hywel Richards, uncle of backrow player James Richards. Hywel was a committed and hard hitting centre who played for Senghenydd, Newport and played and coached at Bedwas in the late 1990s.He earned the respect of all those who played alongside and against him, making many, many friends in the process.
Hywel will be sorely missed and our thoughts are with his wife Claire and all of his family and friends.
