We would like to introduce Jamie Tucker (pictured below) to the team at Bedwas. Jamie is joining us from Cardiff MET playing in the front row as either hooker or prop. When we spoke with Jamie he said “Looking forward to be part of the Bedwas squad with a great bunch of boys, competing to challenge for the league.”
Let’s welcome on board to winger Nick Hogg (pictured below), the last time Nick played rugby union was for our very own 2nd’s team, but has previously been playing rugby league for Aber Valley Wolves. When we spoke with Nick he said “I’m really excited to be joining Bedwas. We’ve got a good squad of players and I’m looking forward to the season ahead.”
We are happy to introduce you to Owen Jones(pictured below) joining the team for the 2019/20 season. Owen is coming to us from Bedlinog said he is happy to be joining Bedwas and is looking forward to being part of the team and getting the side back up to the Premiership.
We would like to introduce to the team and to the club Bradley Williams. Coming to Bedwas from Pill Harriers and playing at fly half, Bradley(pictured below) is sure to bring his experience to the team. When speaking to Bradley on transferring to Bedwas he said “Just like to thank Sanky and the coaches at Bedwas for the opportunity this season. I’m really looking forward to being part of a strong squad who are pushing to get straight back into the Premiership.”
Bedwas are happy to welcome to the team Alec Jones, coming to us from Nelson RFC Alec is a fantastic addition and will be playing at centre. When we spoke with Alec(pictured below) on joining the team “It’s a great honour to be a part of the Bedwas squad this year and hopefully I can help to get Bedwas back into the Premiership.”
We are pleased to welcome to the team this season James Hallett. James(pictured below) is coming to us from Senghenydd RFC, and has played a few positions in his career but will mostly be playing full back while at Bedwas. When we spoke with James he said “I’m grateful to be joining the club at this exciting time. I look forward to challenging for the league and helping Bedwas get back to where it belongs, along with taking the field again with some very good mates.”
We would like to introduce Callum Williams to the team here at Bedwas. Callum(pictured below) is joining us from Senghenydd and last season made a few appearances playing at centre. When we spoke with Callum he said “Thankful of the opportunity given to me by the coaches after having a taster last season in a few games. But I’m looking forward to testing myself at a higher level this season and seeing what we can achieve as a team this year.”
