Brecon RFC 33 Bedwas RFC 35

 Bedwas travelled to Brecon for the last pre-season friendly on Saturday 27 August 2022.

On a bone-dry pitch courtesy of the drought both sides played some good rugby to entertain a crowd of approximately 300.

Bedwas featured many new faces as did the hosts as coaches tried different combinations.

Brecon scored 4 tries including one penalty try and 3 conversions.

Overall an enjoyable afternoon out, we thank Brecon for the fixture and for their hospitality and wish them well for the forthcoming season.

Attention now turns to the start of the Admiral Championship next Saturday (3rd September) when Bedwas host Glamorgan Wanderers.
