Bedwas RFC host Mountain Ash RFC on Saturday (kick-off 2-30pm) as Pat McGee’s side bid to continue their excellent form.
Speaking before the game Pat McGee said: “After a very pleasing performance on Saturday, which secured our place in the cup final, we now turn our attention back to league action with a home fixture against Mountain Ash. They proved to be a stern test in the reverse fixture, pushing us all the way in a tightly contested match.
The lads have worked hard in preparation, and we are under no illusions that another strong, committed performance will be required.
This match also marks a significant milestone for Rhys Hutchinson — known to many as Butch — as he makes his 250th first-team appearance for the club. Reaching such a landmark at one club is a tremendous achievement and a testament to his commitment and consistency.”
