Bedwas look to continue winning ways

Bedwas head west on Saturday to face Ystalyfera RFC in what is anticipated to be physical fixture as Bedwas look to build on last week’s success over Maesteg Quins. Supporters are reminded that this game kicks off at 1-30pm.

Injuries and unavailability’s see Stefan Sankala make some changes to his backline for this game. Sam Davies is out with a broken hand suffered last week against Quins, Burgwin and Dixon are unavailable.

Sam George returns to the inside centre role on permit from Talywain, and we welcome back winger Ieuan-Rhys Beal who represented Bedwas at the start of this season before he was injured. We also welcome Owain Jones on permit from Risca on the bench.

Up front Mike Dacey is unavailable, so Dale Rogers takes over at hooker. Last weeks hat-trick scoring Lewis Crane moves to Number 8 with Ben Sier accompanying Will Fishlock in the back row. Ryan Thomas starts at loose head prop with Ben Drew moving to the bench.
