Tough game expected against Wanderers.

Bedwas 1st XV host Glamorgan Wanderers this Saturday in the first game of three successive home fixtures.

Wanderers arrive at Bedwas in second spot in the table having won four out their first five games, their sole defeat being at Cambrian Welfare.

We are expecting a tough game against our friends from Cardiff as alluded to by Pat McGee in his pre-match comments.

” It was another pleasing performance last week. We are at home this week against a tough Wanderers team who will be a big test. Everyone is looking forward to the challenge !!!”

The coaching team make a few tweaks to the side that convincingly won at Ynysddu last week.

Ryan Thomas and Jordan Rogers start at prop forward with Mike Dacey completing the front row. Last weeks starting lock forwards keep their places with one change in the back row as Rhys Morgans returns with Ben Eedy dropping to the bench.

Behind the scrum Tristan Kugler moves from right wing to full back with Adam Williams coming in. Llewelyn Brown moves to the bench with the remaining starting positions unchanged from last week.

The referee is Mr John Darcy.

Bedwas RFC would like to thank CDH Contractors Ltd of Caerphilly for their generous sponsorship of this game. We hope you enjoy your afternoon at the Bridgefield.

The twenty-man squad is as follows:
