This weekend it’s the first round of the Championship Cup.
Bedwas will travel to Maesteg Harlequins, for the first of two visits over the next two Saturdays as a league fixture is at the same venue against the same opponents on Saturday 22 October.
This being a Cup tie allows coaches to select a twenty-three-man squad with no permit players allowed.

FROM M4
Turn off M4 at Junction 36
Follow signs for Maesteg – about 6 miles to Llangynwyd Lower.
Continue along A4063 until mini roundabout – continue straight on passed Cwmfelin Primary School
After School bear right into Mill Road (be careful take right hand fork which is downhill)
Continue along road – pass Maesteg Celtic on left – until you pass disused school on right hand side.
Turn right at next lights into Crown Road follow main road to new School on right hand side at top of hill. Parking is available in the School grounds. If there isn’t any room in the school it is fine to park on the road despite double yellow lines – it is a short walk to South Parade playing fields.
