Bedwas RFC 1st XV make the short journey to Ynysddu RFC (Welfare Ground, High Street, NP11 7JG) on Saturday for a Championship East fixture (2-30pm kick-off). This is believed to be the first time the sides have met for many years, we look forward to renewing some acquaintances.
Bedwas Head Coach Pat McGee makes some changes to his side.
Llewelyn Brown starts at full back with Tristan Kugler moving onto the right wing. Rhys Peters and Lewis Bowden maintain their centre partnership with Leo Geraci coming in on the left wing. Lloyd Wilkins and Toby Thomas will be the half back pairing.
Up front there’s a league debut for hooker Kyle Prosser and return for Lloyd Jones at Number 8.
Lewis Crane moves on to the bench which also sees the potential debut of back rower Christian Francis.
Lewis Bowden leads the side.
Ahead of the game Pat McGee shared his thoughts: “As a group we are gaining in confidence after three good performances. What we are working on at training is coming to fruition on a Saturday which is very pleasing. Another tough test this week with an away trip which all the lads are looking forward to”.
