Team news for tomorrow’s local derby at Cross Keys

Bedwas head to local rivals Cross Keys on Saturday with hopes of making the top five hanging by a thread. A bonus point win is needed and then we must hope other results go our way in games involving Newbridge and Beddau.

Looking ahead to the game Head Coach Pat McGee said “As a group we were very disappointed with last week, a massive opportunity missed. W can only move forward and play each game as it comes.

Bedwas make changes in the pack. With Harry Oliver unavailable for the next two weeks, we welcome back Ben Sier to partner Jo Hole in the second row. There is also a welcome return for Craig Hudd who will take on the Number 8 jersey.

The only other change is at loose head prop with Ben Drew starting and Brynley Toms dropping out of the side.

Behind the scrum there are no changes to those selected last week.

The full selection is: 15. Lloyd Wilkins, 14. Dafydd Thomas, 13. Adam Williams, 12. Lewis Bowden, 11. Max Rivers, 10. James Dixon ©, 9. Jak Robbins; 1. Ben Drew, 2. Arwel Hughes, 3. Rhys Hutcherson, 4. Jordan Hole, 5. Ben Sier, 6. Tommy Chapman, 7. Rhys Jones, 8. Craig Hudd.
