Bedwas RFC welcome’s our near neighbours Newport RFC to the Bridgefield on Saturday as they look to start gaining some wins in the battle for Premiership survival.

The fifteen on duty shows a few changes from last week. We welcome Deon Smith from the Dragons Academy for his Bedwas debut with Luke Crane starting at scrum half in place of the injured Tom Rowlands.

In the forwards ranks Chris Budgen replaces injured Rhys Hutcherson with Alun Rees starting at hooker.

On the bench there is a potential debut for Dragons Academy prop forward Luke Yendle and we are delighted to welcome back centre Connor Edwards for his first appearance in Bedwas colours this season.
