After finally getting back on the field last weekend Bedwas head to Bridgend Athletic RFC (Brynteg Comprehensive School, CF31 3LE-ample parking at the ground).
Pat McGee reflected on last week’s game making the following comments “After a lengthy layoff, it was great to get back out on the field last week and back into competitive action. There were signs of rust in both attack and defence, which was to be expected, but overall, it was a really positive performance and important to return to winning ways as a group.
This week presents a very different challenge as we travel away to face a strong Bridgend Athletic side. We’ve prepared well for what we know will be a tough test, training hard all week with good intensity and focus. The boys have responded well and are looking forward to the challenge ahead. We’re confident we’re ready to step up and put in a strong performance.”
