It is with great sadness that we at Bedwas RFC have learned that former player and Scrum Half Anthony Edwards, known to everyone as Tony, sadly passed away earlier this week.
Tony started his rugby with us through the youth set up and finished in the first team. He was a wonderful person and an excellent player.
Our thoughts and condolences are with his family at this time.
Anthony’s funeral will take place at the Wenallt Chapel, Thornhill Crematorium on Wednesday 27th September 2023 at 3-30pm. Following the service the family wishes to invite everyone to a celebration of his life at Caerphilly Golf Club, Mountain Road, Caerphilly.
His family have requested no flowers please but donations to St David’s Hospice would be gratefully accepted.
