Bedwas host seventh placed Narberth on Saturday (k.o.2-30pm) in what is likely to be another keenly fought question. The Pembrokeshire team have played eight league fixtures to date, winning four and losing four.
There are a few changes to the side that won last week.
Up front Ben Sier moves back to blind side flanker with Harry Oliver coming in at lock forward and Dale Rogers moves to number 8 in place of Alex Bourne. Last week’s starting front row remains unchanged.
Hamish Anderson and Aaron Billingham come in at full back and right wing respectively and Dion McIntosh takes over the fly half berth with former Bedwas player Adam Williams on the bench to replace Matty Bancroft who has been ill. Scrum half Lucus Welch comes in on permit from Ynysybwl.
The remaining backs are unchanged from last week. On the bench we welcome Rhys Lewis on permit from Merthyr as the replacement prop. Sam Davies returns from injury and there is a return for Owen Jones.
The team is: 15. Hamish Anderson. 14. Aaron Billingham, 13. Alec Jones, 12. Lewis Bowden, 11. Dafydd Thomas, 10. Dion McIntosh, 9. Lucus Welch; 1. Ben Drew, 2. Mike Dacey, 3. Rhys Hutcherson, 4. Harry Oliver, 5. Craig Hudd ©, 6. Ben Sier, 7. Rhys Morgans, 8. Dale Rogers.
