Fundraising appeal for Luke Jones
A fundraising campaign has been launched in support of a local family following the sudden passing of Bedwas supporter, Luke Jones.
As part of the fundraising activity, there will be two fundraising rugby matches will be played by the U12s and U9s Bedwas RFC Mini and Juniors teams on the 11th January.
The matches are being played to support the Jones/Lewis family following the tragic passing of Luke Jones on December 23rd, 2019. Luke’s family have been firm supporters of Bedwas RFC, with five of his children playing in 5 different age groups for the club.
The Bedwas under 12s will be playing Beddau under 12s on the main pitch at 1.30pm, before the Bedwas RFC 1st XV play their WRU Specsavers Championship match against Beddau 1sts. The Under 9s team will be playing Oakdale at half time.
