The Barbarians comeback was left too late as Caldicot took the spoils (34 points to 19) in their first league fixture of the season. However, the consistent Gavin Evans put in yet another solid shift in both defence and attack. He took the plaudits as ‘Man of the Match’.
Try scorers were Saul Down (2) and Tudor Charlesworth. Tyler Picton and Owen Thomas added a conversion each.
