Bedwas head west for Championship Cup semi-final

All roads lead west for Bedwas supporters this week as the team travel to The Gnoll, home of Neath RFC for a highly anticipated Championship Cup tie versus Ammanford RFC. This game kicks off at the earlier time of 2-00pm.

The coaches are expecting a tough game against the side currently leading the Championship West Division with ten wins from fourteen games played.

Bedwas Head Coach Pat McGee reflected on the past two weeks when he said “As a group, we’ve benefited greatly from the consistency of playing over the past two weeks after such a long layoff. Our performance improved noticeably last week, and we feel we’re in a strong position heading into the cup semifinal.

We know another step forward is required if we’re to progress further in the competition, and the challenges ahead are clear. Those challenges have been set, and the group is focused, prepared, and ready to meet them”.
