Bedwas resume domestic matches

After a short break due to British and Irish Cup action Bedwas resume their domestic fixtures with a home WRU National Cup tie against Glamorgan Wanderers (kick-off 2-30pm).

Steve Law is able to name a virtually full strength side with Nicky Griffiths returning from injury to take on the Captain’s armband. On the bench Tom Rowlands covers the scrum half replacement role again returning from long term injury.

Bedwas are without Robson Blake who has been called up for his first home appearance by the Newport Gwent Dragons who host Newcastle Falcons in the Anglo Welsh Cup on Sunday. Meanwhile Ken Dowding represents Wales Deaf against England Deaf on Saturday at Sardis Road, Pontypridd. We wish them both every success.

The full line-up to face Wanderers is:

15. Aaron Bramwell, 14. Matthew John, 13. Adam Williams, 12. Mike Callow, 11. Andy Evans, 10. Richard Powell, 9. Nicky Griffiths ©; 1. Dan Preece, 2. Alun Rees, 3. Matthew Pettit, 4. Rhys Verley, 5. Joe Davies, 6. James Richards, 7. George Lee, 8. Andrew Waite.
