Top of the table Bedwas travel to bottom of the table Swansea on Saturday, kick off 2-30 pm.
Despite there being a massive 37 league points between the sides Steve Law and his Bedwas team will be taking nothing for granted as Bedwas victories at the St Helens ground are very rare.
Law is keen for his team to get back to winning ways after last week’s disappointing loss to Stirling County in the British and Irish Cup.
‘The coaching team were disappointed with last week’s performance’ opined Law, ‘we had enough opportunities in the first half to win the game before going ‘off the boil’ and letting Stirling back in. St Helens is rarely a happy hunting ground for us but I am confident if we execute our game plan then we can enjoy our Christmas lunch after keeping the winning league run going’
Up front Bedwas make four changes from the team that started against Stirling. Ian George and Kristian Gay start in the front row with Preece and Pettit on the replacements bench. James Thomas comes back into the second row with Phil Rees on the bench. Deri Mattravers starts at number 8 with Simon Grainger and Sam Feehan making up the back row.
Behind the scrum Josh Davies starts at scrum half, Matthew John starts at left wing with Matthew Pewtner on the right wing with Rory Budina dropping to the bench in what is an otherwise unchanged line up.
